Engystoma (?) interlineatum Blyth, 1855 "1854", J. Asiat. Soc. Bengal, 23: 732. Holotype: ZSIC 9853 according to Sclater, 1892, List Batr. Indian Mus.: 22, and Chanda, Das, and Dubois, 2001 "2000", Hamadryad, 25: 104, who discussed the location and identification of the type. Ohler and Grosjean, 2005, Herpetozoa, 18: 99-106, discussed the holotype Type locality: "Pegu" (= Bago), Myanmar.

Kalophrynus orangensis Dutta, Ahmed, and Das, 2000, Hamadryad, 25: 68. Holotype: ZSIC A9087, by original designation. Type locality: "Orang National Park (26° 30′ N; 92° 15′ E), Darrang District, Assam, north-eastern India". Synonymy by Ohler and Grosjean, 2005, Herpetozoa, 18: 99-106.

Distribution

Southern China (Yunnan, Guangxi, Hainan, and Guangdong) to southern Vietnam (Cao Bang Province), Laos, and southern Cambodia, southeastern Myanmar, and eastern and northwestern Thailand; Assam, India, and Bangladesh.
