Diplopelma bunguranum Günther, 1895, Novit. Zool., 2: 501. Syntypes: Deposition and number not stated; including BMNH 1947.2.11.38-41 (formerly 95.5.1.105-108) according to R.F. Inger in Frost, 1985, Amph. Species World: 382. Type locality: "Bunguran, or Great Natuna [Island]", Indonesia.
