Type locality: "Pakitza, Reserve Zone, Manu National Park, ca. 57 km (airline) NW of the mouth of the Rio Manu, on the Rio Manu, 350 m, 11° 56′ 47″ S, 71° 17′ 00″ W, Madre de Dios, Peru".
