Plethodontohyla guentheri Glaw and Vences, 2007, Mitt. Mus. Naturkd. Berlin, Zool., 83 (Supplement): 34. Holotype: ZSM 61/2005, by original designation. Type locality: "above a campsite locally known as Camp Simpona (ca. 14° 26′ S, 49° 44′ E, >1326 m above sea level), Marojejy National Park, northeastern Madagascar".

Distribution

Known only from the type locality at high elevation (over 1326 m) in the Marojejy National Park, northeastern Madagascar.

Comment

Most closely related to Plethodontohyla notosticta, Plethodontohyla mihanika, and Plethodontohyla inguinalis according to the original publication. See brief account by Glaw and Vences, 2007, Field Guide Amph. Rept. Madagascar, Ed. 3: 122-123.
