Mantipus bipunctatus Guibé, 1974, Bull. Mus. Natl. Hist. Nat. Paris, Ser. 3, Zool., 171: 1180. Holotype: MNHNP 1962.916, by original designation. Type locality: "Forêt de Fivahona (massif de l'Andringitra)", Madagascar.

Plethodontohyla bipunctata — Blommers-Schlösser and Blanc, 1991, Faune de Madagascar, 75: 54.
