Distribution
Highland of Ethiopia on both sides of the Rift Valley, the western population extending north into Eritrea, elevations of 1800-3000 m in Ethiopia and down to 200 m in Eritrea.
Comment
A tetraploid species of the Bufo regularis complex most similar to Bufo kerinyagae and Bufo regularis, according to the original publication. See also Tandy, Bogart, Largen, and Feener, 1985, Monit.
