Asterophrys minima Parker, 1934, Monogr. Frogs Fam. Microhylidae: 67. Holotype: ZMA 31, by original designation; now ZMA 5818 according to XXX. Type locality: "Went Mts., 1,000-1,360 m.", Papua (New Guinea), Indonesia.
