Xenobatrachus lanthanites Günther and Knop, 2006, Zootaxa, 1268: 41. Holotype: ZMB 69558, by original designaation. Type locality: "near the road to Ambaiduru Village, about 17 km direct line NE of Serui, Amoman Mountain, 1° 45′ S and 136° 19′ E; altitude 1100 m a.s.l., Yapen Island, Papua Province, Indonesia".
