Phrynomantis eurydactyla Zweifel, 1972, Bull. Am. Mus. Nat. Hist., 148: 465. Holotype: BPBM 1014, by original designation. Type locality: "Danowaria, 70 m., near Fak Fak on the Onin Peninsula, West Irian [Papua (New Guinea)]", Indonesia.

Callulops eurydactylus — Dubois, 1988, Alytes, 7: 1-5.

Pseudocallulops eurydactylus — Günther, 2009, Zoosyst. Evol., Berlin, 85: 182.

English Names

Danowaria Callulops Frog (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 88).

Distribution

Onin Peninsula, Papua, Indonesia, to Western Province, Papua New Guinea.

Comment

Menzies, 2006, Frogs New Guinea & Solomon Is.: 242, provided a brief account. Günther, 2009, Zoosyst. Evol., Berlin, 85: 185, doubted if the unique paratype is conspecific with the holotype.
