Pherohapsis menziesi Zweifel, 1972, Bull. Am. Mus. Nat. Hist., 148: 458. Holotype: AMNH 84452, by original designation. Type locality: "Iarowari School, Sogeri, 1500 ft. (460 m.), 5 mi. N, 17 mi. E Port Moresby, Central District [Central Province], Territory of Papua [Papua New Guinea]".
