Type locality: "Hellwig-Gebireg, +/- 2500 m" = Hellwig Mountains, +/- 2500 m, and "Wichmann-Gebirge, +/- 3000 m" = Wichmann Mountains, +/- 3000 m, Papua (New Guinea), Indonesia; restricted to Hellwig Mountains by lectotype designation.
