Oreophryne zimmeri Ahl, 1933, Mitt. Zool. Mus. Berlin, 19: 582. Holotype: ZMB 34321 according to the original publication and Bauer, Günther, and Robeck, 1996, Mitt. Zool. Mus. Berlin, 72: 266. Type locality: "Süd-Ost-Celebes (Tanke Salokko, Mengokoka-Gebirge, 2000 m)", Indonesia.

English Names

Zimmer's Cross Frog (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 91).

Distribution

Known only from the type locality on southeastern Sulawesi, Indonesia, 2000 m elevation.
