Oreophryne terrestris Zweifel, Cogger, and Richards, 2005, Am. Mus. Novit., 3495: 20. Holotype: AMS R145378, by original designation. Type locality: "West Sepik Province, Papua New Guinea, at Dokfuma Meadow south of Mt. Capella, Star Mountains, 05° 01′ S, 141° 06′ E, elevation 3080 m".
