Oreophryne minuta Richards and Iskandar, 2000, Raffles Bull. Zool., 48: 257. Holotype: MZB Amph. 3877, by original designation. Type locality: "2000 m, un-named mountain range, Derewo River Basin, Irian Jaya [now Papua], Indonesia (3° 26.527′ S, 136° 28.365′ E)".

Distribution
Known only from the type locality in the mountains to the southeast of Cenderawasih Bay, western Papua (New Guinea), Indonesia.
