Oreophryne clamata Günther, 2003, Spixiana, München, 26: 186. Holotype: ZMB 62588, by original designation. Type locality: "at an altitude of 860 m a.s.l., Wondiwoi Ms. At the base of the Wandammen Peninsula, 2° 56′ S, 134° 36′ E, Papua, Indonesia".

On the crest of the Wondiwoi Mountains and adjacent eastern slopes, down to 750 m elevation at the base of the Wandammen Peninsula, Papua (New Guinea), Indonesia.
