Cophixalus wempi Richards and Oliver, 2010, J. Herpetol., 44: 556. Holotype: SAMA R61866, by original designation. Type locality: Southern Highlands Province, Moran oil field (06°14.363′ S, 143° 07.660′ E; 1,750-m elevation), Papua New Guinea".

English Names

None noted.

Distribution

Currently known only from two localities; Iagifu Ridge near Moro township, and Moran oil field, both in the Kikori Integrated Conservation and Development Project area of Southern Highlands Province, Papua New Guinea, in very wet lower montane mossy forest between 1300 and 1800 m altitude.

Comment

Most similar to Cophixalus cryptotympanum according to the original publication.
