Cophixalus pulchellus Kraus and Allison, 2000, J. Herpetol., 34: 538. Holotype: BPBM 13744, by original designation. Type locality: "1.3 km S and 2.3. km E of the summit of Mt. Hunstein, 1000 m elevation, 4.523° S, 142.675° E, Hunstein Mts., East Sepik Province, Papua New Guinea".
