Choerophryne burtoni Richards, Dahl, and Hiaso, 2007, Trans. R. Soc. S. Aust., 131: 136. Holotype: SAMA R62475, by original designation. Type locality: "Moran area, Southern Highlands Province, Papua New Guinea, 6° 14.363′ S, 143° 07.660′ E, altitude 1800 m".

None noted.

Distribution

Known only from the type locality (ca. 1800 m) in lower montane rainforest (Moran area) and ca. 80 km to the northwest (2037 m elevation), Southern Highlands Province, Papua New Guinea.

Comment

Kraus, 2010, Herpetol. Rev., 41: 246-248, provided the first record away from the type locality.
