Xenorhina dubia Boettger, 1895, Zool. Anz., 18: 134. Syntypes: SMF (2 specimens); one of these, SMF 4201, designated lectotype by Mertens, 1967, Senckenb. Biol., 48(A): 51. Type locality: "Nord-Halmaheira, in Höhen bis zu 2200′", Moluccan Is., Indonesia.

English Names

Moluccan Callulops Frog (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 88).

Distribution

Known only from the type locality (Molucca Is., Indonesia).

Comment

Menzies, 2006, Frogs New Guinea & Solomon Is.: 241, provided a brief account. Koch, Arida, Riyanto, and Böhme, 2009, Bonn. Zool. Beitr., 56: 107-129, reported a population similar to this species (as Callulops cf. dubius) from Salibabu Island in the Talaud Islands, Indonesia.
