Barygenys maculata Menzies and Tyler, 1977, J. Zool., London, 183: 447. Holotype: UP 5090, by original designation. Type locality: "approximately three kilometers northwest of Agaun, Milne Bay Province, Papua New Guinea, altitude 1500 m".

English Names

Spotted Papua Frogs (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 87).

Distribution

Vicinity of the type locality in Milne Bay Province, Papua New Guinea.
