Cophixalus tuberculus Richards, Johnston, and Burton, 1992, Sci. New Guinea, 18: 142. Holotype: UP 8441, by original designation. Type locality: "at an altitude of 1625m on the southeastern slopes of Mt Akrik, Western Province, Papua New Guinea (5°10′S, 141°10′E)".

Albericus tuberculus — Burton and Zweifel, 1995, Am. Mus. Novit., 3129: 1.

English Names

Warty Rainforest Frog (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 89).

Distribution

Central mountain ranges between 141° and 146° E, Papua New Guinea, 1200-1900 m elevation; likely into adjacent Papua, Indonesia.
