Micrixalus nudis Pillai, 1978, Proc. Indian Acad. Sci., Ser. B, 87: 173. Holotype: ZSI-SRS VA/771 according to Chanda, Das, and Dubois, 2001 "2000", Hamadryad, 25: 107. Type locality: "forest brook, 8 km north of Forest Rest House, Chedleth, Kurichiat Reserve Forest, Wynad", Kerala, India.

Distribution

Southern Western Ghats of Karnataka, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu, India, ca. 800 m elevation.
