Megophrys parallelus Inger and Iskandar, 2005, Raffles Bull. Zool., 53: 134. Holotype: MZB unnumbered (field numer D33), by original designation. Type locality: "Batang Sarasah, Lubuk Selasih, near Solok, West Sumatra (0° 59′ S/100° 38′ E, 1289 m ASL", Indonesia.
