Megophrys omeimontis medogensis Fei, Ye, and Huang, 1983, Acta Herpetol. Sinica, Chengdu, N.S.,, 2 (2): 49. Holotype: CIB 73II0015, by original designation. Type locality: Medog County, Xizang (Tibet) Autonomous Region, China; 1,000 meters. Given in error in the English abstract as "Motuo [County], Xizang [= Tibet], alt. 1000 m", China. See comment by Zhao and Adler, 1993, Herpetol. China: 120.

Known only from the type locality (Medog County, Xizang, China).
