Xenophrys jinggangensis Wang In Wang, Zhang, Zhao, Sung, Yang, Pang, and Zhang, 2012, Zootaxa, 3546: 58. Holotype: SYS a001430, by original designation. Type locality: "Mount Jinggang (26° 33′ 06.30″ N, 114° 09′ 17.60″ E; 845 m a.s.l.), Jinggangshan City, Jiangxi Province, China".

Distribution
Known only from the type locality, Mount Jinggang, in the middle of the Luoxiao Range, running along the border between Jiangxi and Hunan provinces, China, 700-850 m elevation.
