Megophrys huangshanensis Fei and Ye, 2005, Illust. Key Chinese Amph.: 84, 201, 253. Holotype: CIB 920029, by original designation. Type locality: "Huangshan (30° 08′ N, 118° 10′ E), Anhui, altitude 700 m".

Xenophrys huangshanensis — Frost, 2006, Amph. Spec. World Online, vers. 4.0: . new combination by implication of statements in the original publication; Delorme, Dubois, Grosjean, and Ohler, 2006, Alytes, 24: 17.

Distribution

Northern Anhui Province, China.

Comment

Similar to Xenophrys boettgeri (as Megophrys) according to the original publication. In the Megophrys boettgeri group of Fei, Ye, Huang, Jiang, and Xie, 2005, Illust. Key Chinese Amph.: 82. Fei, Hu, Ye, and Huang, 2009, Fauna Sinica, Amph. 2: 421-424, provided an account and spot map. Fei, Ye, and Jiang, 2010, Colored Atlas of Chinese Amph.: 190-191, provided a brief account (as Megophrys huangshuanensis) including photographs of specimens and habitat.
