Scutiger nepalensis Dubois, 1974 "1973", Bull. Soc. Zool. France, 98: 496. Holotype: MNHNP 1974.1095, by original designation. Type locality: "Khaptar, petit torrent sur le chemin de Doti à Chainpur, 20 km à l'Ouest du lac sacré de Dah Khaptar, Ouest-Népal (29° 25′ N, 81° 02′ E; altitude 2950 m)."
