China: 86. Type locality: "Juilong, Kangding", Sichuan, China (101° 32′ E, 29° 10′ N), 3210 m elevation". Given as "Tanggu, Juilong Co., Sichuan Prov., China; 3210 m" by Fei, Hu, Ye, and Huang, 2009, Fauna Sinica, Amph. 2: 236.

Distribution
Known only from the type locality (Sichuan, China).

Fei and Ye, 2001, Color Handbook Amph. Sichuan: 127, provided a brief account and illustration. In the Scutiger (Aelurophryne) glandulatus group of Fei, Ye, Huang, Jiang, and Xie, 2005, Illust.
