Scutiger (Aelurophryne) jiulongensis Fei, Ye, and Jiang In Fei, Jiang, Ye, and Cheng, 1995, Acta Herpetol. Sinica, 4-5: 237. Holotype: CIB 80I0387, by subsequent designation of Fei, 1999, Atlas Amph. China: 86. Type locality: "Juilong, Kangding", Sichuan, China (101° 32′ E, 29° 10′ N), 3210 m elevation". Given as "Tanggu, Juilong Co., Sichuan Prov., China; 3210 m" by Fei, Hu, Ye, and Huang, 2009, Fauna Sinica, Amph. 2: 236.

English Names

Jiulong Cat-eyed Toad (Fei, 1999, Atlas Amph. China: 86).

Distribution

Known only from the type locality (Sichuan, China).

Comment

Fei and Ye, 2001, Color Handbook Amph. Sichuan: 127, provided a brief account and illustration. In the Scutiger (Aelurophryne) glandulatus group of Fei, Ye, Huang, Jiang, and Xie, 2005, Illust. Key Chinese Amph.: 66. Fei, Hu, Ye, and Huang, 2009, Fauna Sinica, Amph. 2: 236-241, provided an account and spot map. Fei, Ye, and Jiang, 2010, Colored Atlas of Chinese Amph.: 137, provided a brief account.
