Distribution

Known from the type locality in extreme southern Yunnan near the Laos border; Phongsaly Province, Laos, and Tam Dao, Vinh Yen District, Vietnam.

Comment

Closely related to Leptolalax oshanensis (= Leptolalax pelodytoides oshanensis of this list) according to the original publication. See also Fei, Ye, and Li, 1992, Acta Biol. Ohler, Wollenberg, Grosjean, Hendrix, Vences, Ziegler, and Dubois, 2011, Zootaxa, 3147: 1-83, characterized the species comparatively.
