Comment

See Fei, 1999, Atlas Amph. China: 100-101, for brief account, figure, and map. Placed as a synonym of Leptolalax pelodytoides by Dubois, 1981, Bull. Mens. Soc. Linn. Lyon, 50: 187-188; this not accepted by Ye, Fei, and Hu, 1993, Rare and Economic Amph. China: 160. See account (as Leptolalax oshanensis) by Ye, Fei, and Hu, 1993, Rare and Economic Amph. China: 160. Fei and Ye, 2001, Color Handbook Amph. Sichuan: 137, provided a brief account and illustration. Fei, Hu, Ye, and Huang, 2009, Fauna Sinica, Amph. 2: 309-315, provided an account and spot map. Fei, Ye, and Jiang, 2010, Colored Atlas of Chinese Amph.: 172-173, provided a brief account (as Paramegophrys oshanensis) including photographs of specimens and habitat. Ohler, Wollenberg, Grosjean, Hendrix, Vences, Ziegler, and Dubois, 2011, Zootaxa, 3147: 31-31, provided an account and redelimited the species to include only the Chinese populations, the Thai and Laotian populations being assigned to Leptolalax minimus. Ohler, Wollenberg, Grosjean, Hendrix, Vences, Ziegler, and Dubois, 2011, Zootaxa, 3147: 1-83, characterized the species comparatively. See comments by Inger, Orlov, and Darevsky, 1999, Fieldiana, Zool., N.S.,, 92: 7 (as Leptolalax pelodytoides oshanensis).
