Leptolalax fuliginosus Matsui, 2006, Zool. Sci., Tokyo, 22: 825. Holotype: KUHE 20174, by original designation. Type locality: "Pa Lao U, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, Thailand (12° 32′ N, 99° 34′ E)".

Distribution
Known only from the type locality (Pa Lao U, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, southern southwestern Thailand.
Comment
Resembles Leptolalax pelodytoides according to the original publication. Ohler, Wollenberg, Grosjean, Hendrix, Vences, Ziegler, and Dubois, 2011, Zootaxa, 3147: 1-83, characterized the species comparatively.
