Leptolalax (Lalos) eos Ohler, Wollenberg, Grosjean, Hendrix, Vences, Ziegler, and Dubois, 2011, Zootaxa, 3147: 39. Holotype: MNHNP 2004.0274, by original designation. Type locality: "Long Nai (21° 14′ N, 101° 56′ E; 800 m), Phongsaly Province, Laos".

Distribution

Phongsaly and Bolikhamxay Provinces, Laos; expected in adjacent Yunnan, China.

Comment

Confused with Leptolalax bourreti prior to to its naming according to the original publication. See comment under Leptolalax bourreti. Large-sized specimens from Yunnan mentioned by Yang, 1991, Amph. Fauna of Yunnan: xxx, as Leptolalax pelodytoides (Yang 1991) may be referrable to Leptolalax eos according to Ohler, Wollenberg, Grosjean, Hendrix, Vences, Ziegler, and Dubois, 2011, Zootaxa, 3147: 1-83.
