Distribution
Known only from the region of the type locality in Jingdong County, Yunnan, China, 2300-2450 m elevation.
Comment
Similar to Leptolalax pelodytoides according to the original publication. Redescribed by Fei, Ye, and Li, 1992, Acta Biol. Plateau Sinica, 11: 47. Fei, 1999, Atlas Amph. China: 98-99, provided a brief account, figure, and map.
