Leptobrachium xanthospilum Lathrop, Murphy, Orlov, and Ho, 1998, Russ. J. Herpetol., 5: 57. Holotype: ROM 32181, by original designation. Type locality: "forested hills about 2 km east [of] a farming village (14° 20′ 29 N, 108° 28′ 46 E, elevation 850 m), Gia Lia [sic] Province, Vietnam".
