Distribution

Southern peninsular Thailand) and Pahang, Kuala Lumpur (Malaya, Malaysia); Provinces of Aceh, Riu, and Sumatera Uta, Indonesia, on the island of Sumatra; also Sarawak (Borneo), Malaysia; possibly extending into southern Tanintharyi Division, Myanmar, but not yet collected there.

Comment

Considered a synonym of Leptobrachium hasseltii by Inger, 1966, Fieldiana, Zool., 52: 29, but considered a distinct species; without discussion, by Dubois, 1980, Bull. Mens. Soc. Linn.
