Leptobrachium guangxiense Fei, Mo, Ye, and Jiang In Fei, Hu, Ye, and Huang, 2009, Fauna Sinica, Amph. 2: 251. Holotype: CIB 20050050, by original designation. Type locality: "Pinglongao (107° 53′ E, 21° 50′ N) of Shangsi Co., Guangxi Prov., China, altitude 500 m".

Known only from the type locality (Pinglongao, 107° 53′ E, 21° 50′ N, Shangsi County, Guangxi Province, China, elevation 500 m).
Comment
Reported, prior to its naming, as Leptobrachium hainanense for Guangxi by Mo and Zou, 2005, Herpetol. Sinica, 10: 89. Fei, Ye, and Jiang, 2010, Colored Atlas of Chinese Amph.: 158-159, provided a brief account including photographs of specimens and habitat.
