Südostasiens: 68-69, to compare this species with other megophryids in the Sunda Shelf region. Das, Jankowski, Makmor, and Haas, 2007, Mitt. Hamburg. Zool. Mus. Inst., 104: 154, provided a brief description. The incorrect spelling of the specific epithet mjoebergi has been used. Art. 32.5.2 ( ICZN, 1999, Internatl. Code Zool. Nomencl., Ed. 4) restricts the exchange of ö for oe to German words; Mjöberg is Swedish. Das, 2007, Amph. Rept. Brunei: 35, provided a photograph and a brief account.
