Leptobrachella baluensis Smith, 1931, Bull. Raffles Mus., 5: 12. Holotype: BMNH 1947.2.25.32, according to XXX. Type locality: "Kamborangah, alt. 7,200 feet", Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia (Borneo).

English Names

Kamborangah Borneo Frog (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 85).

Distribution

Montane Sabah and Sarawak, Malaysia (Borneo) and in adjacent northern Kalimantan, Indonesia, 750-1800 m elevation.

Resurrected from the synonymy of Leptobrachella mjobergi by Dring, 1983, Amphibia-Reptilia, 4: 96, where it had been placed by Inger, 1966, Fieldiana, Zool., 52: 49.
