Breviceps namaquensis Power, 1926, Ann. S. Afr. Mus., 20: 465. Syntypes: SAM (2 specimens), by original designation. Type locality: "Port Nolloth, Namaqualand", Northern Cape Province, Rep. South Africa.

Distribution

Namaqualand coast of extreme southern Namibia and Rep. South Africa south to the Melkbos District in the Western Cape Province.
