Prior to the revision of Glaw and Vences, 2006, Organisms Divers. Evol., 6: 236-253, in the Mantidactylus (Gephyromantis) granulatus group of Dubois, 1992, Bull. Mens. Soc. Linn. Lyon, 61: 312.
