Type locality: "Mahasoa campsite, near Ambodisakoa village, northeast of Vohimena at the northeastern edge of Lake Alaotra, Faritany (province) of Toamasina, northern central east of Madagascar, 17.29769° S, 48.70199° E, 1032 m asl".
