Comment

Glaw and Vences, 2007, Field Guide Amph. Rept. Madagascar, Ed. 3: 218-219, provided an account (and noted a similar unnamed species from Tsingy de Bemaraha: now named Gephryomantis atsingy). See photograph, map, description of geographic range and habitat, and conservation status (as Mantidactylus corvus) in Stuart, Hoffmann, Chanson, Cox, Berridge, Ramani, and Young, 2008, Threatened Amph. World: 429, who noted a personal communication from Miguel Vences that this taxon probably represents two species.
