Gephyromantis boulengeri Methuen, 1920 "1919", Proc. Zool. Soc. London, 1919: 351. Holotype: TMP 10876 (formerly 1013), according to Blommers-Schlösser and Blanc, 1991, Faune de Madagascar, 75: 202. Type locality: "Folohy, East Madagascar".

Rhacophorus gephyromantis Ahl, 1929 "1928", Mitt. Zool. Mus. Berlin, 14: 480. Replacement name for Gephyromantis boulengeri Methuen, 1920, preoccupied by Rhacophorus boulengeri Peracca, 19XX.
