Mantidactylus microtympanum Angel, 1935, Bull. Soc. Zool. France, 60: 202. Syntypes: MNHNP 1935.170-171, according to the original publication and Guibé, 1978, Bonn. Zool. Monogr., 11: 20. Type locality: "d'Isaka-Ivondro, alt. 700 m ; région de Fort-Dauphin", Madagascar.

Distribution

Extreme southeastern Madagascar from Nodongy-Sud to Andohahela, 50-1000 m elevation.
