Aglyptodactylus securifer Glaw, Vences, and Böhme, 1998, Z. Zool. Syst. Evolutionsforsch., 36: 27. Holotype: ZFMK 59975. Holotype: "Kirindy Forest (20° 03′ S, 44° 39′ E); at less than 100 m above sea level, about 60 km north of Morondava, western Madagascar".
