Boophis luciae Glaw, Köhler, De la Riva, Vieites, and Vences, 2010, Zootaxa, 2383: 51. Holotype: ZSM 327/2000, by original designation. Type locality: "Vohidrazana, 18° 57′ 57″ S, 48° 30′ 37″ E, 731 m a.s.l., eastern Madagascar".

Distribution
In and near Ranomafana National Park, from Andohahela National Park, and from An'Ala, Andasibe, Vohidrazana, and Ranomena, eastern Madgascar.
Comment
In the Boophis albipunctatus group, according to the original publication. Randrianiaina, Strauss, Glos, and Vences, 2012, ZooKeys, 178: 59-124, reported on larval morphology.
