Rhacophorus granulosus Guibé, 1975, Bull. Mus. Natl. Hist. Nat. Paris, Ser. 3, Zool., 323: 1083. Holotype: MNHNP 1953.160, by original designation and Ohler, 1996, Copeia, 1996: 1011, who discussed previous errors in reporting. Type locality: "forêt de Moramanga", Madagascar. Preoccupied by Rhacophorus granulosus Ahl, 1927, Sitzungsber. Ges. Naturforsch. Freunde Berlin, 1927: 38.
