Known only from the region of the type locality (Marojejy Massif, northeastern Madagascar).
Comment
In the Boophis luteus group, according to the original publication. Glaw and Vences, 2007, Field Guide Amph. Rept. Madagascar, Ed. 3: 168-169, provided an account. Randrianiaina, Strauss, Glos, and Vences, 2012, ZooKeys, 178: 59-124, reported on larval morphology.
