Distribution
Known only from the region of the type locality (Andasibe, Madagascar), 800-900 m elevation.
Comment
In the Boophis goudoti group according to the original publication. Glaw and Vences, 2007, Field Guide Amph. Rept. Madagascar, Ed. 3: 162-163, provided an account. Glaw, Köhler, De la Riva, Vieites, and Vences, 2010, Zootaxa, 2383: 19-20, noted that the photograph assigned to this species by Glaw and Vences (2007) does not show Boophis brachychir, but Boophis entingae.
