Limnodynastes dorsalis var. terrae-reginae Fry, 1915, Proc. R. Soc. Queensland, 27: 67. Holotype: AMS R4525 according to Cogger, 1979, Rec. Aust. Mus., 32: 169. Type locality: "Somerset, Cape York [Peninsula], N. Queensland", Australia.
